Partner with Moyisi — Custom Cabinetry from Our Own Factory in Foshan

Most of the people we work with are not homeowners. They are cabinet retailers, joinery shops, builders, developers and FF&E buyers who need a factory behind them — one that will take a drawing, hold a specification, and ship on the date it said. This page is what that arrangement looks like from your side, in plain terms, with the numbers we are willing to put in writing.

Who do you actually work with?

Three kinds of partner, and the relationship is different for each. Resellers and joinery shops — you sell and install locally, we manufacture to your drawings. Builders, developers and fit-out contractors — you have a program of units, apartments or rooms, and you need one supplier who can carry kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, doors and wall panels on the same container instead of four suppliers on four schedules. Designers and FF&E buyers — you have specified something particular and need it made rather than found. What we can and cannot take on is written out honestly here, including the jobs we turn down.

What do you bring that a trading company does not?

Moyisi is Foshan Moyisi Home Furnishing Co., Ltd., founded in 2008, working from a family-owned factory of over 10,000 m² with more than 20 professionally trained designers. The practical difference is that a drawing question gets answered by the people who will build it, and a change during production is a conversation rather than a chain of forwarded emails. Our company facts page lists the registration details, address and capability in one table so you can check them. If you are still deciding between suppliers, the buyer's guide sets out what to ask any of us.

What is the minimum to start?

USD 5,000 per order. That is an order value, not a unit count, so a first order can be one large kitchen, a mixed load of cabinetry and wardrobes, or a small batch for a display area — whatever adds up. We would rather a partnership start with one real job than with a forecast.

How long does an order take, and what is fixed?

Production is 35–45 days, counted from the day final drawings are approved, not from the day you first write to us. Sea freight sits on top of that and depends on your destination port and how much you ship, so we confirm it with the forwarder per order instead of publishing one figure. For Australia that has been running about 3–5 weeks, which puts a typical order at roughly 56–80 days door to door; for New Zealand, allow about 80–105 days. The stage-by-stage timeline is here, including the parts that are your side rather than ours.

What will it cost, and do you publish prices?

We publish ranges rather than making you ask. Kitchen cabinetry runs about USD 50–90 per linear metre FOB in melamine or PVC laminate, USD 80–140 in PET or soft-touch, USD 110–170 in lacquer, and USD 140–200+ in veneer or stainless steel. A whole-house package — kitchen, wardrobes and vanities — runs about USD 10,000–30,000 FOB. Genuine Austrian Blum hardware adds roughly 15% over the range price; Higold, a brand of a publicly listed Chinese company, is the budget alternative. The published ranges, and what moves a job from one band to the next, are here. The landed-cost breakdown — freight, duty, GST — is here.

How do you handle specification, and what do we tell our own customer?

Whatever you specify is what goes on the order and on the packing list. Boards are ENF grade as standard — formaldehyde at or below 0.025 mg/m³ under GB/T 39600, the highest grade in that standard — with E0, E1 and B1 flame-retardant board available where a job calls for them. Into Australia, qualifying cabinetry lines enter at 0% duty under ChAFTA with a certificate of origin, which we issue with the shipment; import GST of 10% applies as normal. Those are the two things your customer will ask you about, so they should be the two things you can answer without calling us. Which board suits which job is set out here.

How does a first order actually run?

Send a brief and drawings, or just room dimensions and reference photographs. We quote, you approve shop drawings, we produce, we photograph the order before packing, then balance and shipment. Payment is staged: a 10% deposit starts the 3D rendering stage, 20% when the 2D and layout drawings are complete, 50% at design sign-off when production begins, and the remaining 50% before shipment, the same for project and single-home orders — we do not charge a design fee. The warranty is 3 years on the cabinetry and 10 years on Blum and Higold hardware, and on-site installation by our own team is available as a chargeable service, quoted separately from the goods. The eight stages of an order, and who owns each one, are here.

How do we start a conversation?

Write to us with the job in front of you rather than a general enquiry — a floor plan, a photograph of what your customer wants, or a schedule of units is enough to get a real answer. We are reachable 24/7 and answer within 4 hours. Contact details are here.
