Is there a design fee at Moyisi?

No. There is no design fee on the quotation.

What starts the design work is a 10% deposit, paid after you have seen the quotation. It is part of the order value, not a charge on top of it.

The drawings are prepared by our own team. We have more than 20 professionally trained designers in house.

What do I pay before I see any design?

I already have drawings from my architect. What changes?

If you bring your own drawings, the 10% deposit starts our production drawings instead of the renderings.

The steps after that are the same: a further 10% when the drawings are ready for your review, a further 30% when you sign them off and production starts, and the remaining 50% before shipment. We accept DWG, PDF and 3D drawings; see which drawing file formats we accept.

What should I ask any factory about design fees?

Put the same three questions to every supplier on your list, and ask for the answers in writing.

1. Is design charged as a separate line, or is it covered by a deposit that counts towards the order?
2. What exactly do I receive at the design stage: renderings, 2D drawings, service layouts?
3. At which step is each payment due, and what has to be finished before it is?

When does production start?
